To be a winner and a leader, a person needs to be very careful about what he says. Sometimes "it's better to remain quiet and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt."
To be a leader, one needs, of necessity, to communicate with others to relate a message. Lives can be changed if you say the right thing at the right time at the right place with the right spirit. The proper tone of voice and the expression on your face are very important. Body language is also effective - the movement of shoulders, hands, and head is quite noticeable.
Words of encouragement, spoken or written, have a dramatic effert on a person. Likewise, words of correction can be most helpful, but be careful to give them in the proper spirit of helpfulness. Well-intended words, even though they are correct, can damage relationships, if they are not perceived as being offered with good will.
